It seems the bombs have grown fond of me. Mine, following Dr. Bunansa, has begun following me, as has Grenade, who was previously following Kuja. I think they are keen to my fire magics. I was waiting for a chance to leave the mall to exterminate them or at least scare them away, but it seems they were aware of my intentions and gave me trouble in my store. Wakka was visiting and said he'd take care of them, but he only succeeded in aggravating Mine. Mine became angry and exploded. He is no more, nor is a small corner of my shop.

...Not a very small corner. My window has been blown out and my entire selection of clothing has gone up in flames. I am considering ordering more, but the clothing wasn't my store's profit-making items anyway. It seems everybody likes to wear the same exact outfit every single day, myself included Private ).

Soon I'll take some aggression out at The Arena, but Mr. Orlandu's inept crew seems to be having technical problems. Perhaps one of these bombs is to blame?

By the way, Grenade left the store after Wakka threw his ball at him. Wakka and I are somewhat lucky that we use unconventional weaponry and can have them inside the mall, though sometimes Wakka still gets his ball confiscated. Grenade is a bit irritated and following Mr. Valentine. Be careful, Vincent.

And to the mysterious moogle: I am sure you are aware, but the other bomb, Balloon, is following you. You may want to avoid him.

Demonstration of Destruction

It's been a sad state of affairs lately. Since my time away from this online journal, things were briefly well, then headed downhill. I left Socdel Sykel to NORG for a good amount of money. With it, we were able to buy our own house and start another business outside the mall Private ). When that fell through, I returned to the mall to beg for my job back. I am not good at begging, especially when begging NORG, but much like Orlandu did with The Arena, I finally reached an agreement. I know of Orlandu because NORG brought his deal up several times in our interaction, often citing him as the "best negotiator" and "look what HE got." Apparently he believed that by telling me that someone as powerful as Cidolfus Orlandu was only able to get this deal, it was the best anybody could get.

Unfortunately, it worked. I was put back in charge of Socdel Sykel, but NORG is still the official owner of the store. Because of this, many of our novelty goods have been removed and the store is limited to dark and unconventional magics. I preferred those sales anyway, but it is always a shame to be told how to run your own business.

We will now be looking for housing that is within our means and slowly piecing our lives back together. Wakka has become a much better father, so now I feel that I can help with some of the fighting that has erupted with the Chaos/Cosmos conflict.

Also, I have begun repairing my staff at Socdel Sykel by hiring Dr. Cid once again. He may have attempted to destroy the Chaos World on occasion, but he often used dark magics to do so, which boosts sales nicely. It's the ultimate demonstration.

Account Shutdown

Wakka and I are writing these up concurrently. We are having a race to see who can finish first. It will likely be him. He says so much less than I do.

During the events of last week, Wakka and I came to a realization that we needed to focus more on our child. And also each other. Wakka and I had a bit of an argument about my bossing him around to steal powers. But the biggest factor was when I spoke ill of Kuja. He sent an army after me. Directly to our apartment. While we fended off the attack, it made us realize that we had unintentionally invited a battle to our home. It might only be a matter of time before a more powerful enemy comes and- I don't want to think nor speak of the possible outcomes. Wakka and I have put ourselves in harm's way too often, and while we will always fight to defend our child, we need to be less hasty and less involved.

Because of this, we are both closing our online accounts. We will continue to work at Mallboro and will never shop at Greater Mallboro, but much less frequently. I have decided to sell my store and only work part-time. Wakka and I will plan alternating schedules so that one or both of us will always be home with Vidina. In addition, we are leaving our apartment. Too many villainous types know our address, so we will now be in an unlisted home in West Town, which I am buying with the money I receive from selling the store. It seems the store was worth much more than I'd imagined.

Dr. Cid Bunansa: I have talked to NORG about the management of Socdel Sykel and I will offer the management position to Edea Kramer. I am sorry if you were hoping for the position, but I believe you are better suited to only be loosely tied to management. Your research takes up too much of your time. You are, however, a wonderful employee and may take the position of Assistant Manager should you choose. Please, take all this up with Edea and NORG. I have informed both that you may speak with them about this.

Also, Dr. Cid, you previously asked me about playing blitzball. I believe I can still play should you want me, but I warn you that I am horrible at the game and you would be much better off with another player. But if victory is not your goal, then I will still consider it. I will speak with you in person at a later date.

Thank you all for your hospitality. Except that miserable lackey, Kuja. Goodbye.

A Good Ending

lulu
It was a wonderful ending to this difficult time. I rounded up some of the strongest people at Mallboro and we battled Kuja- well, more battled the Snowball. Kuja's part in the fight was insignificant. Unfortunately, mine was as well. I am indeed glad Sir Jecht saved us at the cost of his immortality, but I feel I did little to help the cause.

At one point, Jecht realized the Squall had not submitted to him, so they turned the ship around, but, fearing Kuja would prepare a bigger attack, I played my small role and distracted Kuja. As our ship neared the battle zone, I fired the signal to Wakka: a large fireball in the sky, struck by lightning. Upon seeing it, he (luckily) reacted correctly and took a quick trip to the Group Room. From what I hear, he made a disturbing joke, something sexist, and high-fived Dycedarg and Draclau. My power was theirs.

While the ship returned to fight Squall, I stayed and fought alone. It was easy, however, because of Dycedarg's powers. Kuja sent a few more monsters, but the bigger threat were the monsters that simply roamed the Chaos Realm outside the Rim. Still, the Snowball is truly powerful. Most monsters died from what felt like my weakest spells.

Knowing Jecht would return, I realized I did not need to use Draclau's powers as I intended. I found Kuja and, though I planned originally to order him to return the Snowball, I simply ordered him to abandon the Snowball by returning to his normal, mall-working life. This way when Jecht returned with his immortality, he would not be distracted by Kuja or Kuja's monsters.

A small role to play, indeed, but I was the failsafe had Jecht not returned.

Wakka: Thank you for not screwing up.

We must take action. Now.

lulu
This mess with the Snowball must stop now. I am unsure why that lackey Kuja has involved himself in this. It is pathetic. It reminds me of when a couple of boys start to play blitzball, then a younger, less athletic boy starts wearing blitzball jerseys and carrying a blitzball to be "cool."

By the way, Kuja, your creatures were easily destroyed. You see, you had them attack my home. Wakka and I are living at Ipsen's Casa, which was designed to mimic Ipsen's Castle in your realm. We are on the lower level, so high powered attacks were weak and vice versa. The manager told me this in advance, so I was prepared with an army of my weakest dolls. It is one of the only fights that I dominated based on my physical attack. Those monsters of yours continued to use high-powered attacks to no avail.

Challenge

lulu
Kuja: I received your... present. Those mages are pathetic. Powerful as they may be, they have no combat sense. Between Wakka and I, those mages were only a slight difficulty. Wakka is very proficient in Silence Buster, however.

Enough of this though. Kuja, it is pathetic that you would send those mindless creatures instead of coming yourself. I challenge you to a battle. Alone. I will be at the docks in East Town in one hour. Unlike in the tournament, this time I won't go easy on you. I expect you to do the same for me.

Whatever you are planning cannot succeed. No matter what you and Vivi may think, Marche can still sense the Snowball. You are acting as if you actually believe that protecting this Snowball makes you an all-powerful being, but you are wrong. The man who created the Snowball, he is the one we fear. You are just his lackey. Come fight me, lackey.

Kuja, Reply Immediately

lulu
This has gone on long enough.

Kuja: I request you bring the Snowball to the roof of Mallboro, where the inhabitants of the Chaos Realm will decide how to deal with it. You have no reason to guard it. You gain nothing in doing so. I will take the Snowball from you if you do not comply, but I ask you to please, return it. I only hope you can prove your are not only decent, but sensible in doing so. I warn you, do not make foolish decisions regarding this Snowball. I will not only scar, but ruin your reputation as a powerful being, should you not comply.

What I must do.

lulu
I've failed the first part of my plans. I was unable to steal Jecht's powers. Apparently his power is simply a link to the sword, so either Wakka must touch the sword, or there is no way for somebody to steal a power such as Jecht's. Because of this, I was unable to defeat Jecht. Although I have proven that my magic can beat him within the confines of Virtual Reality, it seems reality I could not defeat him. I blame the sword, despite him no longer having it. He still has a boost of power, not that I doubt the powers of Sir Jecht. But our Virtual Reality program is 98.5% likeness to ourselves (I read it in the manual). Because he defeated me so swiftly, I am entirely confident that he still holds the powers of the sword.

As I told you earlier in person, Sir Jecht, I submit to you. I truly hope your intentions are to destroy the Snowball, although I fear that you will abuse immortality. It hurts me to say that to of one of the best guardians to ever walk the land of Spira, but it how I feel.

Phase 2

This is a worthless excuse for a task. If a man is going to be so mysterious and grant us all these good and bad tasks, he should have given more important of tasks, unlike mine. I take any burdens for my oaf of a husband touching people. Right now, he's in hot water. I received powers from Ellone. This means he has touched her. I do not know what kind of contact was made, but I do know that my husband should not be touching other women. And Wakka, don't try to hide from me. The powers I gained involve tracking down marked subjects. I know exactly where you are.
